Shotgun
1999 Registered American Paint
Pony Gelding
“SHOTGUN” is one superstar of a pony! This 10 yr. old, 13.1 hh American Paint Pony really loves his job and does it with tons of scope and style!
Never fails to tightly tuck his knees and always leaves a jump looking for another-has a great expression! Shotgun has been hacked all over on different trails and is great around all kinds of traffic- cars, kids, dogs, farm machinery, cattle, new horses, you name it he’ll handle it. Stands like a gentleman for vaccines and the farrier, not to mention to be left tied, groomed, bathed, and clipped. Loading is an ease; he hops on and off a slant load or will walk up and back down a ramp in a straight load. Shotgun really enjoys seeing the sights and loves new places and going to shows. As soon as he steps off the trailer his ears are up, his eyes are bright and with his black coat and white markings he really catches some attention!
He has been sitting out in the pasture for the last 4 years, only being used occasionally for lessons. We just recently have pulled him up in the last couple of months to mess with him and have since taken him to his first schooling show and rated show ever. We could not have been more pleased with him! He was shown in a Level 0 class, and before his schooling show he had never jumped a full course, only single jumps, and only a handful of times as we ourselves do not jump, but he took it all in stride. He came through with a fourth place ribbon out of 15 horses-he was the only pony! Then two weeks later with no ride time in between we took him to a nearby “B” show and he competed in both Level 0 and Level 1 jumpers all week always placing in the ribbons, not to mention finishing with a Reserve Championship in his Level 1 division, again being the only pony! With more experience and showing he could be winning for you! He would be a great pony to take a competitive boy or girl to the top and would be a great candidate for pony finals! Easily jumps 3’ with room to spare, videos of him are available on Youtube, just search Sweet Shotgun Joe. UPDATE ! Shotgun went to his first A show and was CHAMPION in his division (still being the only pony)! He goes to a good home only, and is competitively priced for a quick sell!

Captain Cal
1999 APHA B/S Gelding
Captain has been with us
since he was a baby. He is my daughters
horse.
Captain was broke out as a two year old. I
found out he was being abused and removed
him from training. He has been ridden since
and is a good boy. He loves attention and is
the first one to come to you in the pasture.
We have worked very hard to get him back and
want him to go to someone that will love him
as much as we do. He has been ridden for
about a month this last fall and will need
some work, but will make someone a devoted
horse if given the chance. He will only be
sold to a caring home. Captain is UTD on
shots and farrier.

TW Ima Blue Print
1997 AQHA Black/Brown Mare
TW Ima Blue Print, aka Blue, is an AQHA
Black/Brown Mare. She has Tiger Leo and
Three Bars on her papers and has been trail
ridden and shown in 4H. For the last 2 yrs,
I have been using her as a broodmare, and
she has thrown some beautiful babies, both
are listed. Standing an honest 15.3 with a
nice big rounded hip, she would make a great
asset to any breeding program or a great 4H
project or trail horse. Blue has been
genetically tested and is homozygous (EE)
for the black gene. Blue had to have a plate
put into her pastern after a freak accident
a few years back, but is very rideable and
has been 100% sound ever since. She is UTD
on worming,4 farrier, shots, etc.
She is open this
year for a new home. Please

Somewhat Hot
2003
Triple Registered Dun Solid
Mare APHA, IBHA, ABRA
Somewhat Hot, aka Hottie, is a 16.2 dun
breeding stock mare. Triple registered APHA
, IBHA, ABRA . She is out of the great sire
Think Im Hot and certainly holds lots of
potential as a all-arounder. Hottie was
shown in longe line as a yearling and
started as a two year old: we put 90 days on
her and then pitched her back out to finish
growing for a year. Since then she has been
ridden around by all sorts of people and is
quiet enough for a youth. She has very laid
back attitude and is more than happy to
stand around all day and be played with. She
would make a great addition to any horse
loving family and also a great 4-H project!
She has been ridden both English and Western
and we are planning on trying her over some
jumps through out the summer, along with
possibly taking her to some local D series
shows. She bathes, clips, loads easily and
is UTD on worming, shots, and farrier.

Two Oaks Silver Poco
2002 AQHA Gulla Mare
Silvy is a nice AQHA grulla mare. Poco Bueno
on her papers. She is about 15.1. I bought
her as a broodmare and started her under
saddle. We climb on her in the pasture and
ride her up to the barn. She is not finished
but she would make a great versatile horse.
Good attitude and quiet. She has been bred
twice, she had a perlino filly and the other
a buckskin. NICE mare! She has been
genetically tested for breeding. She is open
at this time. She is UTD on shots and
farrier.

Twice The Spice
1998 Registered Half Arabian and Registered Appaloosa
Twice the Spice, also fondly known as
Cinnamon, has been with us since she was a
weanling. She is double reg. as Half Arabian
and also Appaloosa, making her very
marketable. With her small size, (she
currently stands about 14.2), she would make
an excellent youth horse, but however can
still easily carry a large adult. She could
also be able to get her pony card. She was
started as a 2 yr old and since has had many
hours under saddle, she has been trail
ridden and most recently we have been using
her as a lesson horse for the last few
years. While she rides either western or
english, we believe that she is more suited
as an English horse. She is currently
schooling 2'3-2'6 consistently, but has been
jumped up to 3'. With her classy appearance
and beautiful deep red coat and thick black
mane and tail, she definitely has that
hunter resemblance. She has great ground
manners and loves to be fussed with, is
certainly a people horse! She is calm around
dogs, kids, and machinery, and is UTD on
worming, shots and farrier. We are planning
on showing her some this season at a few
local D series shows until she is sold.

1992 16.2 Hand AQHA, IBHA, ABRA
Buckskin Gelding
JK Pass the Buck, aka Jake, is a 16. 2
triple registered AQHA, IBHA, ABRA Buckskin
Gelding. Jake has jumped up to 5' and has
been leased out in the past to an eventer.
He LOVED it! Since he has been home we just
haven't had the time to ride him anymore and
decided it's just too much of a waste to
have such a great guy sitting around. He
must go to a good home only! He as been
trail ridden in the past , and has a lot of
fun doing his job. He's alot of fun to ride
and being as he is a very forward horse, I
do feel Jake would need a confident rider.
He is UTD on all shots, worming, farrier,
etc. He loads, and clips with no
problem.
Please Email us for more info, pics or
check out the youtube videos.
SOLD!
Congratulations to Mary Fahey for placing Top Ten at the 2009
AQHA Congress with Jake after 1 month of riding him. Good luck in the future! |
